Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a BE/BC trauma/acute care surgeon, dedicated to night shifts, to join the multi-specialty Memorial Physician Group. The ideal candidate must be BE/BC in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care, and fellowship trained in Trauma & Surgical Critical Care at an ACGME-accredited program. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent skills in emergency general surgery, surgical critical care, and traumatology and will assist in the implementation of the standards of trauma care following the guidelines and protocols put forth by the American College of Surgeons. Active participation in clinical research is expected, as well as participation in surgical education in Memorial’s ACGME-approved General Surgery residency program. This is a full-time employed position within the multi-specialty Memorial Physician Group. The position offers a competitive benefits and compensation package that is commensurate with training and experience. Professional malpractice and medical liability are covered under sovereign immunity.
